TCP Socket Connection Fails on LE910C1‑WWX with Jio 4G SIM

Hello Telit Team,

I’m facing TCP connection issues with LE910C1-WWX module (FW: M0F.103007).

Module Details:

- IMEI: 350936966228950

- SIM: Jio 4G India

- Firmware: 25.30.108-P0F.105701

Issue: TCP connection fails with “NO CARRIER” immediately after AT#SD command succeeds. Please see below image steps followed.

Steps I followed:

1. AT+CFUN=1,1

2. AT+CREG=1 / AT+CGREG=1

3. Network: Registered to Jio 4G (confirmed with AT+COPS?)

4. AT+CGATT=1 (OK)

5. AT+CGDCONT=1,“IP”,“jionet” (OK)

6. AT#SGACT=1,1 (Success - got IP: 10.116.74.149)

7. AT#SCFG=1,1,300,90,600,50 (OK)

8. AT#SCFGEXT=1,0,0,240,0,0 (OK)

9. AT#SD=1,0,4242,“tcpbin.com”,0,0,1 (OK then NO CARRIER)

What works:

- PDP activation successful (gets IP address)

- Network registration OK

- Socket configuration accepted

What fails:

- TCP connection establishment

- After AT#SD returns OK, immediately get NO CARRIER

- Cannot send data (AT#SSEND returns ERROR: wrong state)

Request:

1. Why does AT#SD return OK then NO CARRIER?

2. Is port 4242 blocked by Telit firmware?

3. Correct AT command sequence for TCP on Jio network?

4. Any known issues with LE910C1-WWX on Jio 4G?
