ME910G1 Firmware update fails, now non-functional

I am running Windows 11, I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers and firmware upgrade executables from the Download Zone. I am using a Multitech Dragonfly MTQ-MNG6-B02 which has a Telit ME910G1-WW on it (confirmed with AT commands). I believe the module came with firmware version 37.00.426.

I was attempting the firmware update without the Dragonfly baseboarded, it has a USB connector on it which can power the board and was working fine with Telit AT commander. I have upgraded ME910C1 firmware like this without issue. I started with the latest firmware upgrade executable for 37.00.428 which would error out pretty quick with some kind of message about the current firmware not supporting something. I then tried the 37.00.427 installer, which made it pretty much all the way through but failed trying to open a file on the module.

My module is now completely unresponsive to AT commands though it still enumerates. I can still try to upgrade the firmware but it always fails the same way towards what seems to be the end of the process. I would upload a zip with additional information but apparently new users on the forum cannot upload attachments…..

So not only am I trying to figure out how to get the firmware updated, but I need to get my modem back into a functional state….
