This article discusses the use of Fast Shutdown techniques in Telit -Cinterion modules.
You can use Fast Shutdown to protect the integrity of the Flash memory inside the module, even when facing unexpected power-outages.
Though the AT Commands and GPIOs might be different, between platforms, the same general approach can be applied to Telit '310 / '910 series modules and Cinterion TX82/62, EXS82/62, ELS62, and PLS83/63 modules too.
